Shield Maiden

Eldest daughter to Graeme, and Spear maiden of his guard. Raised to take the place of an eldest son, Fairley went to great lengths to hold up her families honor and earn the position of Thegn in her own right. She has fought valiantly against Dane and Briton in defense of Mercia and has suffered her share of injuries for her bravery. Often seen with a fine bronze circlet around her head of unknown origin and battle attire, she is rarely seen in finery that would suit anything but the most hardened warrior.
 
She was recently severely injured in a skirmish with Danes where a blade cut across her face. She seeks revenge against the Dane that struck the blow and hopes to meet him once again.
