A unit leader of the Golden Wave originally hailing from Tyrlon, Olafur is now the leader of the Oathed in service to the party from Vilion. He was raised primarily by the priests of Tyr in the city of Tyrlon, as was selected to be an Erkenfriende, but was secretly afraid of being sent to avenge his family. When found by the priests as a young boy, he was embarrassed that he had run away from his single mother and lied saying that his family has been murdered by pirates. Leaving Tyrlon, he made his way to Walandarha and joined the Golden Wave mercenary group.
