The barkeep chimes in:
"If you are not already familiar with the Dragonborn called Echo, you would believe misfortune follows the blue-winged one everywhere she travels. The truth is, she has saved more lives than most heroes you've heard of with none but a whisper of her name. Needless to say, if you're not ready to take up arms when the time comes, its best to stay out of her way. She has no patience for cowards..."
Appearance
Physical Description
"Once her body was formed, her voice was found to be absent, replaced with dragon-like telepathy. Her body was lined with scales and her feet were transformed to gigantic talons. Wings had sprouted from her shoulder blades and her body had bulked up, dwarfing her old tiny elf frame. Her face remained relatively unchanged outside of the horn crown that now stood aloft on her forehead and her skin tinted by the platinum dragon's hue."
Echo once owned a slight build with recognizable elf features, average height and weight. Her long flowing white hair and piercing green eyes were a staple of only a few in her kingdom, one of which was Princess Gabrielle, the Azaeth. Put side by side, and only the most astute could tell the difference between her and the Princess.
Because of her half-elf lineage, she matured quickly so that, in spite of the vast age difference, Echo and Gabrielle were often confused for one another. To add to the confusion, Echo utilized her thaumaturgy, causing golden flakes to speckle the normally bright emerald eyes, masking the one true difference in their features.
For most of her journey with the Coalition, these features were hidden by the mask and armor of her dragonborn brethren. The red scales of the mask and armor hid her true identity as well as protect her from scorching flames. The armor and mask were a gift and sign of loyalty to her cause as well as a show of gratefulness of her actions against the Dragonborn's enemies and her original captors. They remain some of her most prized possessions and can be found on her at all times, albeit in different forms.
After her transformation with Churson, the Ancient Copper Dragon, Echo had undergone significant physical changes.
While her facial features remain relatively the same, she now dons a blue tint and a crown of horns, two metallic and one bone. Her body is now speckled with Platinum Scales, giving off a blue hue when reflecting light. They are most prominent on her shoulders, hands and her legs and claws. Her feet saw the most dramatic transformation, now donning something more akin to dragon talons. Lastly, she grew large, dragon-like wings from her back, giving her the ability to fly once given enough time and practice.

Apparel & Accessories
Sun Sword / Dawnbringer
Found after a battle in the depths of a mysterious island, the Sun Sword (Also known as the Dawnbringer) maintains itself as just a hilt until it is activated. Echo's weapon of choice, it is often brandished as a tensions rise in confrontation, a sign that Echo is ready and willing to force the point home in blood. The true power of the Sun Sword was released by Churson during the Rite of Rebirth.
Ring of Invisibility
After dispatching the ancient white dragon, Echo made her way to its lair. While searching for clues on the goings-on with the Blood of the Dragon, she found a magical ring bestowing her the ability to turn invisible. She resisted the urge to whisper "My precious" and hid it from the group, taking advantage of its power time and time again to aid their cause.
Red Dragon Leather Armor
Originally leather armor imbued with the power of the red dragon scales, it now resides in the inner lining of a Dragonguard breastplate.
Red Dragon Scale Mask / Red Dragon Unmovable Shield
Once used to hide the identity of "Gab" and protect from fire attacks, now the scales, along with the immovable rod, have been repurposed to Echo's Shield, allowing her full range of her breath attacks at the cost of her anonymity.
Amulet of the Planes
An amulet once owned by the Reaper, a mercenary hired by the Nine to hunt the Blood and the Coalition. Once he was defeated, the amulet was removed and tucked away by Echo. She has since sought to master it, performing many plane skips using its powers as well as banishing a few foes to different planes. It is now the Coalitions primary mode of transportation and often inadvertently the start of many a new adventure.
Special abilities
It was once thought that Bahamut's surrogate, Churson the Ancient Copper Dragon, bestowed upon her and her companions the gift of Bahamut's blessing. After communing with Bahamut at the end of her adventure with the Coalition, it was revealed Bahamut was not they one who bestowed the gift.
Channeling Draconic Energy
She is able to command a portion of her benefactor's strength, focusing it into a destructive force. This, however, takes a toll on her body and requires all of her strength to maintain stable when used. When all her strength is drained, use will eat away at her body, resulting in death if carried on for too long.
Flight
Thanks to her newly formed draconic wings, Echo has attained the ability to fly. Her flight is mechanical, therefore she has no ability to float and needs to be in continuous movement in order to battle in the air. She is able to maintain a magical float, but only for a limited time.
Telepathy
During her transformation, Echo formed the mental acuity to project her thoughts to others around her. This became all the more important given that she had lost her voice, replaced instead by her uncontrollable breath attack.
Mentality
Personal history
Born to the educator to the crown and a human trader, a taboo in the culture of the Azaeth's High Elves.
She grew to resemble and befriend the Azaeth herself, Life Eternal Elf Princess Gabrielle.
The Azaeth's Kingdom was attacked, she was taken by the Nine (mistakenly) in lieu of Azaeth. The Azaeth sacrificed herself and was slain in front of her.
The rogue group that led the attack, The Nine, kept her close, utilizing her healing capabilities when they could. She retained the name of "Gab" to keep herself and her family safe, but refused to bring anyone of her captors back to life.
Learned the rogue trade over the course of many years. Kept alive by a guild mate, Bartholomew.
Bart, later killed by order of the guild in order to prove her loyalty, was testing if she would still refuse to heal. She refused out of pride, but more importantly, because she lacked the ability to do so.
It wasn’t long before Red, the guild leader responsible for her capture, was mortally wounded in battle outside of their encampment. In a beautiful irony only she could enjoy, she refused to save him and was able to escape during the chaos of oncoming battle. Thus begun the hunt by loyalists of the Nine.
The dragonborn tribe that fought the Nine take her in. She earns her trust and a place in the Tribe.
Gifted the crimson armor, applies rogue abilities as tribal scout.
Searches for a way to make her death as well known as possible, to end the search for her and to protect what's left of her people.
...
During a journey to Eastmire following rumors of dragons in the vicinity, "Gab" fell into the group looking to stop Tiamat. It was there she decided the next leg of her journey to rid the world of the Azaeth began, with her eyes on death by dragons surely being enough to end the hunt for eternal life.
During her travels, "Gab" took to creating illusions to hide her exploits behind the scenes. Her hopes that her new enemies would face off against her old ones culminated in the destruction of Craghaven as well as the murder of many of her clansman at the hands of a demon.
After the fall of Craghaven, "Gab" began to question whether her journey to destroy herself would truly end the power-hungry from continuing to impose their will in hopes of immortality. Her new companions had vowed to find another way to help, even if it meant taking on the Nine themselves. Her resolve shaken, she moved forward directionless, sliding back into old habits. Isolated, she looked to end it all before she lost resolve further. At every turn, she forced the group to face off against what seemed like insurmountable odds, and each time they succeeded. It wasn't until Gorgoroth let loose the Demogorgon in the Barely Woods that she knew it was her time. With her accepting her fate and finally revealing her echo persona to the group, she opened a plane shift portal and removed both the Demogorgon and herself from the Material plane...
...
Before the Demogorgon could destroy her, she took a step back and jumped back to Tua. She hoped that was enough to both save Gorgoroth and stop her own journey as "Gab".
...
After "falling" to the Demogorgon, Gab B. (or Gabrielle Bartholomew) gives up her former persona, instead opting to be known as the faceless Echo, her true name long forgotten. With the Nine in disarray and the Legend of the Azaeth's death ready for the verbal pillaging, she was content to leave her ghosts behind.
She decided to carry on her search for her missing clan, happy that her friends are to finish their journey with two less demons in their midst.
...
Her journey takes her across the world in a mission to discover a way to battle against the coming tide of darkness. For Tiamat, she forges bonds with Bahamut Acolytes across Oldbourne. For the demons, she researched the cause of the manifestation of the gates.
During her travels, she met with the Ancient Copper Dragon, who offers her power in exchange for giving her life to the dragons. She opts to become a champion of Bahamut, a True Dragonborn, at the sacrifice of her past dealings.
Before doing so, she visits her old home where she finds her mother, broken from the shackles of the Azaeth's cult, living out her life with her husband, Brom. After talking briefly, Myrth recognizes her and they embrace one last time before her sacrifice, finally revealing her true name to be Liara.
...
Echo returns to the Copper Dragon to transform, completing her oath of dedication to Bahamut and his cause.
While meditating in the egg like cocoon, the life she's led flashes before her eyes. Clarity of each event circles around and her resolve tightens to stop the half-dragon princess.
Once her body was formed, her voice was found to be absent, replaced with dragon-like telepathy. Her body was lined with scales and her feet were transformed to gigantic talons. Wings had sprouted from her shoulder blades and her body had bulked up, dwarfing her old tiny elf frame. Her face remained relatively unchanged outside of the horn crown that now stood aloft on her forehead and her skin tinted by the crystalline dragon's hue.
Echo returned to find the Coalition, led by her former comrade Bart, leaving the final gateway for the demon realm. As her new friend Allesandro rushed through to assist her friend, she dealt with the traitor once and for all.
Having reunited, the Coalition regrouped and attempted to stop the demon invasion of the world, destroying the gates with the help of the dragon-princess' Red Dragon. Gorgoroth was ultimately slain with his master, the Demogorgon, on his throne in the abyss.
With the demon menace abated, Echo and friend turned to their final threat, the Ancient Dragons and their princess. Some back and forth commenced between the Princess' forces and the Coalition, culminating in a final battle in the ruins of Tua.
The Princess' martial ability was immense and held her own against the many combatants. Her focus, however, was drawn to Calabash, who continuously thwarted her powerful magics from crushing his team. While Calabash dealt with her powers, her physical attacks were thwarted by Echo's overall parrying and physical defense skills. On her last leg, she tried to fell the two in one fell swoop. Before she was able, Omekron teleported below her and fired a final arrow through her skull, ending her campaign for power and Godhood for good.

Side Story: Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis
During her various hops between planes, one particular spell failure landed her in a strange planet attacked by creatures called the Dolz. Mistaken for a Meteorn and claiming amnesia, Echo attempted to help the local population. Her powers were stripped from her and her connection to Bahamut was severed, she worked with the locals to discover the truth behind this new planet.
In her time on the planet, she was able to tap into "Photons", which she used to help her survive in the absence of her equipment and her echo powers of her original plane.
…
Side Story: The Search for the Elden Ring
One particularly bad plane-hop landed Echo in The Land Between. Cold, naked, and without so much as a sword, she made her way through the church she found herself in only to be met with a demon with many arms seemingly grafter onto its body. It was here even her echo knight powers were missing. Finding this world had sapped her powers and most of her Draconic abilities, she knew this fight would spell her end for sure.
And yet…
She woke from death, the first of many in this world, to find her taken on by knights, disemboweled giants, rabid dogs, and many other monstrosities. While searching this world for answers, she came upon a “Finger Maiden” who offered her strength on her journey and steed to make her approach to becoming “Elden Lord” easier. Hesitant but willing, she began her journey.
As her journey progressed, Echo’s powers slowly returned. Her plane shifting seemed relegated to specific points of grace. Draconic powers manifested a bit differently, visions of great dragons of this realm sharing their power with her after consuming the hearts of defeated corrupted dragons. The Dawnbringer, mute and isolated, was found deep within the capital city of Leyndall, forcing many hardships in the journey to reacquire.
During her travels, she was referred to as Tarnished and often enough with great reverence. It seemed an understood fact that Tarnished would venture forth in this world to find and acquire the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord. It was only when granted the opportunity to slay the tarnished by a group of rebels that Echo found herself to question the mission of these poor lost souls. As she looked to cut down those who found themselves fooled into regicide, she found solace in the fact their fruitless journey could end with the mercy of her blade.
Personality
Motivation
At first, Echo's motivation rested with ridding the world of the idea of "The Azaeth", or a creature that could offer someone immortality. Time and time again, she pushed those around her into danger for this very cause. This lead to wanting to strike out on her own, a habit that brought many headaches to those who cared about her.
After attempting to rid the world of the demogorgon, she found new purpose in trying to rally the church of Bahamut against the growing threat of the Blood of the Dragon. Her new journey and motivation ultimately led to her transformation into the Platinum Dragonborn, and her resolve to protect the world was born.

Contacts & Relations
Calabash Neroxious - Dragonborn wizard met in Eastmire. Echo believed with his power growing exponentially, he would be the new leader to follow if she were to want true change in this world. She has since taken that change upon herself.
Omecron - Halfling ranger met in Eastmire. His loyalty to his family and their traditions make Echo nervous, regardless of how harmless they seem. His strength with the bow and readiness to fight for his friends is admired.
Fang Duskfall - Werewolf formerly human. His antics and past indiscretions have worn Echo to her limit. Without the contrast of the Gorgoroth, Fang would have died to her blade long ago.
Gorgoroth - Half-Orc battle obsessed mass of muscle. In spite of his legendary feet of atrocities, Echo saw a different side while working together to help those in Craghaven. Her failure to save him and all those he hurt haunts her to this day.
Sir Dan - Paladin with a penchant for performing and parrots. Dan's resemblance to her old comrade, Bartholomew, is both a comfort and a curse. His abilities have saved her time and time again, but the nagging feeling he has not truly tested his strength on this journey give Echo pause.
Alessandro Cragotin - Vampiric angel drawing his power from his sword. After revealing his true nature as a fellow rogue, all collected trust was discarded. Little is known of his motivations and nothing alarms Echo more than not knowing what her companions are capable.

Religious Views
She has pledged her loyalty to Bahamut and his causes.
Social Aptitude
Echo is mostly quiet and contemplative, even more so now with her voice missing. She will try to lead by focusing the group on the task at hand. When that fails, she manipulates those events around them from the shadows to move the Coalition into place.
Speech
Echo knows the mannerisms of royalty and rogues alike. While not containing any personal charisma, she is able to navigate most conversations leaning heavily on her intellect.
This can lead to her sounding cold and detached. In reality, she struggles to voice those feelings without a grounding in logic, dismissing any feelings, hers or others, as pointless noise.
