Elected as Speaker at the earliest possible age (18 years old!), but said to be wise beyond her years; actually known to be rather intimidating during audiences/meetings. Akaste is especially close to the city's ancient guardian, the blue dragon Voragaul-- more so than many past leaders, who kept the relationship between Speaker and dragon more purely ceremonial. There have rumors floating for years that Voragaul is running the city and using Cosima as a puppet, but nobody would dare say that to her face.
