Harold was born in the year 1495 DR, along with his twin brother. From early childhood it was clear he was destined to make something of his life. Harold quickly outshined his brother in many ways especially in physique. Harold was born with no known physical defects, but his brother was born at half the height as him, the gods clearly had some fun.
Harold's parents passed away when he was 15, and he always made sure to take care of his brother. His parents were never kind to his brother due to the birth defects, but Harold had an unquestionable love for him and always made sure the two were taken care of. Shortly after his parent's death Harold enlisted in the militia to help support him and his brother during the hard times ahead.
 
Harold served loyally within the militia for the next 7 years, and began to question if he was going to amount to anything as remained a constable in the militia during this time. It wasn't until the Order of Sigmar's Chapter house was attack by several undead that Harold's path was revealed. After aiding the Witch Hunter Firehand dispatch of the Zombie ogre, and several other zombies Harold was promoted to Knight-Captain and place in charge of rebuilding the Dace logging camp to restore wood trade to the town.
