Personal history

Born in the jungles of Khao, Lapis was raised by humans who had found him abandoned on their doorstep. The couple were renowned trackers in Khao, and once Lapis was of age, they taught him how to survive and traverse in the Jungle.

He kept up the family business until on one fateful dusk, a voice called to him. She said her name was Žvaigždė, and that she needed individuals to act on her behalf to better the world. She warned Lapis that this choice would be a permanent one, and would require him to leave his old life, and parents behind. Overcome at the prospect of serving a higher purpose, and the opportunity to learn and see new things across Kalkatesh was enough for him to agree to the deal.

with newfound purpose, and a world to explore, Lapis wished his parents farewell, and struck off on his journey to the first place he thought he could learn of the newfound magics Žvaigždė had granted him: the Mages Guild in the sands of Majital.

Education

Taught the ways of the jungle from his parents, and is currently self-teaching in the vast libraries that the Mage's Guild has to offer. Lapis also has a mentor in the form of one known as Mist in the Moonlight, a Tabaxi woman who is also a chosen of Žvaigždė.

Employment

Working as a Mage Guild member, and taking up missions with their blessing.
