He prefers sturdy, simple garb, set in humble, earthy tones of color and hue. He carries both sword and dagger with him whenever possible.

He trained for his entire youth as a hunter under his esteemed father, the Stalwart Drget. However, his focus has always been on combat over the minutia of observing the details found in nature.

Personal history

Born to Drget Egeb and Amuso Ezu, Gerek has spent his entire life on the outskirts of civilization. From an early age, he knew of the perils of the wild that nearly encircled the small village he called home.
 
His father and mother trained him well in the arts of woodcraft and the lore of beast, bird and herb. Gerek learned eagerly from them both, but he loved his father's instruction the most.
 
This was in no small part due to the legends he would hear told about the great fires at night, and the ballads sung by the bards who would come at occasion up the river to share news of the wider world. In them, he would learn of great heroes and adventurers who would dare the perils of the forest. Many returned to great fame and glory, others fell in honorable strife with monstrous beasts, but all held courage and strength to be admired by those who heard of their deeds.
