The current lord of Vanshire and head of House Vangrim.

Maddock Vangrim was once a fearsome warrior who represented House Vangrim on the battlefield; now he is growing old, and plagued by health conditions that make it difficult for him to fight like he used to. In recent years he has rarely left his grim castle, travelling only to attend meetings of the High Council (occasionally even skipping those meetings). Like his Vangrim ancestors before him, carries an intimidating reputation; known for being a harsh leader with a sour disposition.
