He was born amongst the Bothotlo tribe in the southern mountains. An outspoken, arrogant and overall kind of an asshole to anyone even as a young kid.
 
His fate was sealed when he happened upon a fey, who he was of course rude too. The fey tricked him after promising to give him powers, quietly stating what he would have to give up in return, but he had not been paying attention. Finally he would have what he deserved.
 
In exchange for knowledge and power, his voice was stolen from him, and his face marked, the pupils of his eyes also strangely disappearing into the same green color as the curse mark along his jaw.
 

He more or less outcasted himself from the rest of the tribe after this. His mental shook. Family grew wary of him, but he was offered a chance to attend Ioth Academy and took it. He found himself again here, amongst the plants and the welcomed silence.
