Hefestia Dark Cloud was a commoner during the Era of the Beast. She was seen as a seer and prophesier for many people, and was a founder and proponent of the cult that killed and worshiped the magickal beasts of the world. She saw the Mark of the Beast as a gift to those who bore it. 
 
She was labelled a wytch and heretic of the Spreiling Court of Radiance and Felruesste Ottokar and was condemned to death. She evaded capture by escaping into the Felwald where she remained for many years...
