Physical Description

Jackie is a healthy young man of average build. He is dextrous and quick on his feet from working all day with a variety of tools.

Identifying Characteristics

Jackie has a tattoo on his right arm near the wrist of a sprawling array of tools leading to the base of his wrist. He claims it helps him channel his skill, but he just thinks it looks cool.

Apparel & Accessories

Jackie never goes without his signature outfit. He wears a lightweight leather travellers jacket, festooned with trinkets which occasionally flow out from his overfull pockets. On his head he frequently wears a thin red scarf and a pair of circular welding goggles. He wears protective boots covered in straps. On his back, he carries a backpack half his size. The backpack is covered in patches from numerous failed experiments, which cover many of the pockets which haphazardly cover the backpack. From rods attached to the bag extend a sign advertising his business, as well as a motley variety of pots, pans, hammers, saws, a grappling hook, and a bullseye lantern for good measure.

Specialized Equipment

On his hip, Jackie wears a rapier and a kalarol pistol, which he uses to defend himself. He also wears a periapt of wound closure, built into his leather belt.

Runs Jackie Blang's Travelling Tool Service and Supply, a business he runs out of his, which is a bag of holding with a 500lb weight limit.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Jackie got famous for repairing a Kalarol Airship in 15 minutes, alone, after it lost power due to a ruptured fuel tank. To do so, he rappelled down the side of ths ship and used his smithing and carpentry skills to repair the hull of the ship in the middle of a blizzard.

Intellectual Characteristics

Jackie loves creative solutions to problems, and is the type to always come prepared. He sometimes gets a bit too creative when a simple solution would work just as well.

Motivation

Jackie mainly wanders around exploring and selling his services. He's not particularly ambitious, except when it comes to learning how to use a tool or solving a particularly difficult puzzle. He does generally go out of his way to help people who are in danger if he thinks he can get it done.

Despite not living like it, Jackie actualy owns a few cottages and small properties around the Andran Empire and Valley of the Kobold King that he uses to store odds and ends and take the occasional break from travelling. He also stores supplies of gold there if anything goes wrong.

He has a few relatives in the Andran empire who he communicates with monthly by mail.
