Physical Description

Iroh is short for a Tortle at 4ft but he is still 450lb so he's quite round.

He has short thick limbs and a thick wide shell on his back.

He always walks around with his staff and lantern. He always goes everywhere with pouches of tea leaves and a tea pot.

Mentality

Personal history

Back when Iroh was 50 years of age he and his son ran with band of lizardfolk merchants. They would trade supplies with the Mortal Kingdom. They had been running the same trade rout for years with no incidents. One evening when they were on their way back from the Kingdom with their pockets full of money they where ambushed. They normally had ten lizardfolk to accompany them on their journey but a big heard of deer had come near the village so many of them went out to hunt. A group that was normally twelve was only four, they didn't stand a chance as a band of orcs came and ambushed them.
"Give me your gold or I'll kill you" ~Orc
Iroh suggested that they just give them their gold since they are clearly out numbered. The other lizardfolk hesitantly agreed and handed over their gold. Iroh's son however was young and foolish and refused. Iroh begged him to hand over his gold but he wouldn't. Iroh's son charged after the orcs and immediately got killed. The orcs took the gold off the sons body and left. Iroh ran over and cried over his sons body.
"You were only just beginning life, why couldn't it have been me? You had so much more to explore and to see. I'm sorry that I let this happen to you my son. I'm sorry." ~Iroh
 
After his son died Iroh left the merchant business and went deeper into the woods. He lived his life in solitude just listening to the jungle and the animals. he started to study the ways of the land and became a druid. On the anniversary of his sons death he would come out of the woods and enjoy the company of the people around him. Finally, on the 50th anniversary of his sons death he is finally ready to come out of the woods and finally rejoin the world.

Education

At a young age Iroh was taught to fight by his father and then was taught the ways of a merchant.

Employment

He was a merchant for 40 years.

After he left his life for the woods he hasn't talked to people other than once a year for 50 years. He's a little rusty in socializing so he can come on a little strong.

His son was killed in front of him and he couldn't stop it.
