Born to a single mother, Vermont spent much of his childhood with his nose deep in the books of the library, the librarian took a liking to the young boy and took him in as his assistant, when he turned 17 he went on to study at the (NAME) Collage of medicine. 5 years later after having broken his leg permanently while working at a research camp for the magically blind in (NAME), he would earn his doctored in psychiatry and would end up working at the St. Helion Asylum for the criminally insane, there a patient of his would introduce him to the Great Mind.
