Jacob grew up in a small town on the outskrits of Secomber, traveling to Waterdeep with father to visit his uncle, Jacob learned of the Crestford Order, located in the North Ward of the city, Jacob ran away to join the order.

During his training Jacob feel in love with a student from the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors, he sadly lost her during a fire that burned the neighborhood she lived in.

Jacob was in shock for most of his years following the death of his lover, this would cost him dearly. While on a mission in Thay, Jacob and his team was killed during a skirmish with a necromancer. after two weeks Jacob returned to the order, alone.
