Captain Fireborn is the one-legged captain of the Saltmarsh town guard. Dedicated to the Emperor, he is devoted to establishing order and peace in the town. He's also a collector of rare books, which has made him well versed in a variety of languages.

Physical Description

While formerly very fit, Captain Fireborn is getting on in years and has put on weight with a lack of activity. He also is missing his left leg, which is now a finely carved wooden peg leg.

Eliander Fireborn was formerly one of the Emperor's Knights stationed at Burle raiding the Dreadwood, but after his leg was taken by an owlbear he had to retire, move downriver, and find work in the Saltmarsh town guard. Now he is the captain of said guard, and as such a member of the town council.

The law must be obeyed, and only discipline and order and maintain peace. Honor is important, and as such vows must be followed through.
