Son of Scratchy la Sal and Lily Meadowbrush.

 
Per Lily's story, Scratchy met Lily as her tribe was passing through the area while Sal and crew were enjoying time ashore. Between the infamy and allure of danger, Lily and Scratchy spent the night together. By the time Lily awoke, Scratchy had left.

 
Bucky, was born and raised by Lily within the nomadic tribe. Despite his father leaving before his birth, his mother holds his father in high regard and understanding; she often compared their likeness and the hope that they would meet someday when he was ready. The yearly migration between the reaches of the ocean(s) of the continent has helped shape him into a hardened and strong young man. He and his friends would often set out on small adventures of their own, robbing the occasional bandit or traveler who passed them by; usually ending with some scrimmage.

 
His adventurous nature has lead him to attempt to set out to sea on his own many times, much to the chagrin of his mother. Though his attempts were unsuccessful, his skill would improve with each attempt; maybe not through intelligent learning, but by muscle memory and tenacity. His eager nature and fighting skills have lead Lily to suggest that if he wants to find his father he should join the adventure academy. The rite of passage into manhood for their tribe requires the initiate to set out on a journey and bring back evidence of a significant commendation for either their service to a region or major feat of skill. Whether through the academy or through the rite of passage, Lily is sure his journey will bring him face to face with his father. As is tradition, he is accompanied by a pixie squire to record the tale of his journey and note his accomplishments. Bucky's skill has caused him to become arrogant and is quick-tempered when confronted with opposition, so he's often at odds with his quiet and calculating squire.

 
As a follower of Umberlee, his nomadic tribe's zealotry sees all bodies of water as sacred extensions of the goddess. He will make a concerted effort to perform a short prayer during rainstorms, bale out or carve paths for standing water to join with larger bodies such as lakes and rivers, and becomes mildly upset or saddened by still bodies of water (often tossing pebbles, small insects, or foliage into them to 'bring life to' the water).
