The aging scion of the Guilderoy family, Mallory Guilderoy has had his hands in several different industries over the course of his 100 years, and - though he's in generally good spirits for the occasion of his birthday - is also working several angles at once in order to maximize his trade empire's profits.

Cirovein Al'acath born to a single elven mother after she was assaulted by a human soldier during an invasion from Sudenholt. Living basically homeless in Nunorein, Cirovein ran away from his home at a young age seeking a better life and traveled to the capital, Caledor. There, he was taken in by a wealthy human family, the Guilderoy's, who owned and operated the Voltec company. They changed Cirovein's name to Mallory Guilderoy and adopted him as their own.
 
They put him through school where the boy showed significant talent with Arcanus. He was granted a scholarship to attend higher education where he eventually earned doctorates in Arcanus sciences. Upon graduating, his adoptive father, Jerome Guilderoy, offered him a position at Voltec.
 
Mallory's quick wit and scientific mind made him an instant prodigy at the company and he rose the ranks quickly, eventually working as his father's colleague. Upon Jerome's passing at the age of 89, Mallory, now 68 himself, took control of Voltec as its sole CEO.
