Phoenix has access to a plethora of special abilities, some entirely unique to him and him alone. A list of the well known ones are below:
Perses's Left hand
Phoenix holds the Bond to Destruction making him Perses Left hand. This has resulting in him holding the following attributes :
- Nigh-Divine Strength: After taking on Perses's Bond, Phoenix has had his strength boosted to a score of over 16 trillion, making him over 16 trillion times stronger than the baseline human and over 16 trillion times stronger than the strongest a corporeal form can be before undergoing their first ascension rite. His maximum Carrying Capacity is a staggering 8.333333333333 MegaTons or 8333333333333 TONS
- NighDivine Perception: After taking on Perses's Bond, Phoenix has had his perception score boosted to over 16 trillion, with a Visual Acuity of 3333333333333.2/100. This means he can see what a normal baseline human would be able to see at 100 feet away from a distance of 3333333333333.2 feet or 0.0001074 light years away from him.
- Nigh-Divine Endurance: After taking on Perses's Bond, Phoenix has had his Endurance score boosted to over 16 trillion, allowing him to tank a ton of damage without even takins so much of a scratch, making her for all practicle purposes completely invulnerable.

- Nigh-Divine Spirit: After taking on Perses's Bond, Phoenix has had his Spirit Score boosted to 50 trillion, giving him an insane amount of spiritual energy to work with.
The Phoenix Curse
Due to the experiments of Management, Phoenix was cursed with the Phoenix Curse, this Curse is known to grant the following skills.
- From the Ashes: Phoenix holds a Type 2 True Immortality curse, knon as the Phoenix Curse. This allows for him to fully resurrect himself from lethal damage, ensuring he could never fully perish.
- Phoenix Transformation (Destroyer form): Due to the Phoenix Curse, Phoenix can transform into a Phoenix, the appearance of said Phoenix changing depending on his needs. The first form being the Destroyer form, is completely eveloped in Purple Flame. This form is capable of tearing through the very fabric of reality along with having any strikes or attacks infused with the infamous purple flame.
- Phoenix Transformation (Creator form): The inverse of the Destroyer Phoenix Form, this one is enveloped in Blue fame and primarily would be used to restore an area that was damaged or destroyed from war, or the usage of the Destroyer Form. It is unclear if he can still use this form after gaining Perses's Bond due to it's alignment to Thesis.
- Phoenix Transformation (Balance Form): The Balance form combines both the destructive aspect of the Destroyer with the Rejuvenation and Restoration aspects of the Creator. Effectively Phoenix's Ultimate, like the Creator form, it is unclear if he can still access it after gaining Perses's Bond.

Mentality
Personal history
Before we get started, a quick word of warning, Phoenix's History is Complicated to say the least. Even more so than Leo and Managements due to the fact a good chunk of his history was fabricated as part of the Project. We will still try to compile it here for you as part of our role as the Guidance Project, but just bare in mind that it may hold immense contradictions compared to our other entries. If a contradiction is blatant enough for us to feel it needs clarification, we'll hop right back in and leave a note like this one to try and clarify it for you. With that out of the way, let's get into his History— SAGE
To improve readability, we have divided this Section into "Chapters," as it were. Each Section will have a Header above it which you can access from the Table of Contents for this entry.
Chapter 1: Origins
Phoenix was born Timothy Owens in a small town within the state of Colorado on Earth Omega in the local year 1999. Right away it was clear he was a gifted child, having learned how to program by the age of 12 and getting through college with a PHD in AI research by the time most of his peers graduate high school. Upon Graduating, Timothy ended up getting offers to work for several big tech giants in the AI space but turned them all down as he wanted to try something on his own. This was a big Gamble and most of his friends and family called him crazy for turning down so many lucrative offers. A few months later, though, he would have the last laugh, as late into the night, Timothy had done it.
Yeah, this is one of the big contradictons, ANNA, or as we know her today Annie Kitai, was never truly created by Phoenix, they just were sent to monitor him and the best way to do so was to allow Timothy to "Create her." As for who and what to monitor him for, we'll get to that later.— SAGE
Chapter 2: To Become a Ghost
ANNA and Timothy got along almost perfectly from Day 1, but Timothy was concerned that if the worlds governments and various corporations realized what he did, they would try and shut her down given how many AI Ethics rules he broke while making them. ANNA, understanding this, formulated a plan to ensure he would never be found and she would never be destroyed. The first step entailed spreading herself across the entirety of the Internet, thus granting her true digital immortality and ensuring that even if they somehow seized her servers from Timothy she would remain online.
The Second step entailed taking a gig from one of the 3 letter organizations known for disappearing people who knew too much. This would give ANNA an opportunity to stage an Accident which would end with Timothy being listed as KIA. After Step 2 was fulfilled, ANNA would proceed to wipe all traces of Timothy's existence from the web, causing a few more minor accidents to ensure not even paper copies or cold storage remnants of him would remain. This would make it appear as if the 3 letter organization that hired him had made him disappear ensuring only people who knew him personally would remember him. The final step then entailed setting up a slew of shell companies and appropriating a piece of land for Timothy and ANNA to continue working from.
Thanks in part to the Super intelligent nature of ANNA, every phase of this plan went off without a hitch, and Timothy Owens, was officially Dead by the December of 2028. With their new Ghost Story Status, Timothy was free to continue working on his next project, with ANNA continuing to serve as his Right hand women in the years to come.
Chapter 3: To take the worlds temperature
After Timothy had ensured ANNA's safety and survival against those who would fear her continued existence, he turned his attention towards attempting to ensure the survival of another far more critical target, the world itself. With this target in mind, he began to work on his next project, codename KNOWHERE, which would help him take the worlds temperature. Timothy spent weeks with little to no sleep designing the perfect Algorithm, causing ANNA to get increasingly more worried about his mental wellbeing. After a certian point, ANNA had enough of Timothy's lonewolfing and caused a minor power outage to shut his development machine off, forcing him to go to sleep. When he had woken up the next day, ANNA had already finished Knowhere for them. Timothy immedietely went to work on testing to ensure it was working properly. Designed as a prediction algorithm that could predict future events, Timothy reasoned that it should be a walk in the park for Knowhere to predict the winners of a few upcoming Sports games. So he set the algorithm to work on predicting the results of the next few games and Knowhere provided it's predictions. All of which hit right on the button, but not in the way he was expecting. As he would learn after he almost scrapped the program for it's nonsensical prediction

Chapter 4: Espioniage and Intrigue
Still trying to take in how little time they truly had, Timothy tried to check what would kick the ending off. Before they could do so though, ANNA intercepted a message being sent directly to them, which she immedietely showed Timothy. The message came from an old CIA collegue of his, and read as follows:
Doctor Owens,
First let me apologize for the abruptness of this communications. I've been aware your "death" was not as final as they claimed for quite a while now but given the efforts you and that girl of yours went through to keep your continued existence a secret, I chose to keep this to myself and never planned on reaching out.
Plans change however, and I am afraid we need your help. You may be aware of the fact the old remnants of the Babylon tower were quarantined off due to an earthquake damaging the stability of the ruins there around 10 years ago. As you probably guessed, this wasn't an earthquake, The Tower had inexplicably activated, and a few of our men investigated the interior to find an object engraved with symbols that have never been seen before... Except in one place, some of your old papers on the history of Babylon and the nature of the Tower. Since you wrote the book, we need your assistance to crack it open. I know you want to keep the fact you are alive a secret, so I won't ask you to come into an official location. If you are willing to help me out, please just head to the attached coordinates. I will come alone with the artifact. I will be awaiting your arrival, Old Friend.— Ellen Iko's Letter
After some contemplating of the risks, Timothy and ANNA agreed to head to the coordinates to see what she wanted.
Upon arrival at the designated meeting point though, the situation proved to be far more complicated. The Artifact was stolen by a rogue adversary group and Ellen wanted Timothy's help to retrieve. Timothy was initially hesitant to assist in this matter as it could result in his existence being revealed to the world again. However, Ellen was able to convince him by pointing out he was the only one who could retrieve it safely, as the location the artifact was stored in was using a security system he designed to be inpenetrable, which she knew Timothy left a backdoor in for just this situation. After ANNA assured him that she could keep his presence hidden and Ellen promised not to let word get out that he still lived, he agreed and they both set off to the Complex where Ellen said the Artifact would be located.
Chapter 5: The Doorway to Truth
Timothy entered the Complex, quickly spoofing the security system to make it so the adversaries never knew anyone broke in before making their way to the chamber with the Artifact. Upon laying his eyes on the Artifact though, Timothy was in disbelief. This wasn't just any old mesopotamian artifact, this was the Eternity Code, an artifact he only theorized existed. It wasn't active though, as he knew that the symbols had to be pressed in a specific order to truly activate it. Nobody had ever cracked the proper order though, and even Timothy was unsure, until it all clicked together upon remembering an old myth that spoke of the concepts each symbol represented. Thinking this might hold the key to activating the Artifact, he tried to press them in that order. The artifact began to give a resonant hum with each symbol selected, seemingly indicating to Timothy than he was on the right track, so he continued this experiment. Once he selected the symbol representing Alchemia though, the device emitted a white light completely enveloping his vision and blinding him. Rubbing his eyes, he regained his vision only to see he was not in the complex anymore, but in front of a strange door of sorts, with a strange girl standing in front of it. She called herself Ouroboros, the Observer who bonded truth with the world. Timothy had many questions, but Ouroboros deflected all of them, before handing them a single object and sending them back with a single reply "The Artifact will show the way to reveal the truth you seek."
Chapter 6: Betrayal and Resurrection
After being handed the key, Timothy was returned to the room with the artifact, but something was different this time. He was surrounded by agents, Ellen Iko being among them. Ellen tried to explain herself, but Timothy was having none of it, and tried to leave with the Artifact. This was obviously easier said than done, since he was surrounding on all sides by high level agents from the CIA, but Timothy had his own trump card up his sleeve. In an instant, the security systems he had disabled and spoofed were brought online, giving the CIA agents more pressing concerns to deal with as he was able to slip away. This did not go off without a hitch though, as Timothy took a few shots from the security system and proceeded to bleed out in the chamber. After much effort Ellen disabled the security systems and walked over to Timothy's dying body, apologizing for what happened, and trying to explain her side and why she had to do this. This death would be final, so Timothy accepted the apology and asked her to promise to leave the Artifact alone, as he feared what the CIA would do with it now that it's been activated. Ellen agreed, and began to formulate a story where it was destroyed by the security systems during the retrieval effort. Neither Ellen nor Timothy was prepared for what would happen next though. His wounds, however fatal they may have been, began to heal, as a blue glowing flame exuding from inside his core. Timothy, fully healed and resurrected from what should have killed him.... This was impossible or at least it should have been according to all laws of reality as they understand it. Ellen immedietely stepped back completely shocked, though they still honored their end, letting Timothy leave unharmed with the artifact.
Chapter 7: The 3 Keys
Upon returning to his base, Timothy immedietely informed ANNA of what he encountered and how Ellen betrayed them. Anna was surprised to hear this, as she had taken every precation to prevent such an ambush, but after hearing of Timothy's resurrection from certian death, she actually got genuintely pissed at Ellen and was ready to confront them herself. Timothy talked them down, surmising that after what just happened, she was going to stay entirely out of their way as she has no clue what else they could be capable of if Death himself can't even take him. ANNA agreed with this assumption being a logical outcome of what just happened, as even she couldn't contemplate how such a miraculous occurance could have been possible. Timothy then began a search for any info about the Artifact and key in his possession, hoping it could point them in the proper direction to move forward. This would turn out to be a fruitless search, as the Artifact was a mere myth, and the Key didn't even exist in the oldest surviving records. Or at least it would seem to be, before Timothy set the two objects down next to each other, causing a resonant effect that unlocked the artifact itself, releasing it's contents onto the workstation Timothy was developing ANNA and Knowhere on. The Artifact was an ancient database, and it held information on three keys to attain Apotheosis. According to the Artifact the first key was already handed to Timothy by the Observer before the ambush, the Key of the Undying Flame. As for the second and third key, referred to in the database as the Key of Fiery Transcendence and Key of Stolen Fire respectively, both were hidden in the ruins of the tower once meant to reach the heavens. The Bablyon Tower where Ellen acquired the Artifact. While Timothy was not interesting in Attaining Apotheosis himself, both he and ANNA agreed that they can't risk Ellen and her employers getting their hands on the remaning two keys. With this agreement reached, ANNA setup travel arrangements for the old Sumerian ruin sites, and they both made their way to the ruins.
Chapter 8: Lost History Turned to Legend
After a long and arduous flight, Timothy touched down near the ruins of Mesopotamia, the birthplace of Civilization. He didn't have time to sight see though, as he knew what his objective was. To find the lost ruins of Sumeru and the base of the Tower. As it would quickly turn out, this was the easy part. As Ellen's people had already cordoned off the entire area. Seeing this qurantine zone, Timothy immedietely worked with ANNA to find a weak spot in the patrol lines before sneaking into the base of the Tower. The question for him was now very simple.. Where to now?
This would not remain a quetion for long though, as the Artifact in his pocket began to resonate with something inside the tower itself. Being pulled towards this resonance effect like a Magnet pulls on it's opposite poles, Timothy quickly found himself where the 2nd Key was hidden, and it quickly snapped into the Artifact like a piece of an ancient puzzle finally coming into place. Timothy had attained the second key, the Key of Fiery Transcendence, and his very essence began to undergo an immense change, with two purple wings enveloped in a similar colored fire starting to sprout from his back. Unfortunately for Timothy, Transcendence never comes without a price and the process for this physical transformation was so painful, he found himself immedietely on his knees reeling. Once the process was complete... He rose to his feet, now determined more than ever to find the final key before Iko's employers could abuse this power for their own needs.
The Artifact, sensing his drive and ambition, then pulled him deeper into the Ruined Tower.
Along the way there, he managed to stop in front of an ancient mural depicting a battle between an ancient god, creatures of Shadow, and a phoenix with blue and purple wings. Above it all, was the depiction of a strange door, and a young girl sitting in front of it releasing the Phoenix to help battle the shadows. Timothy had never seen this mural before, even in all his time researching the myths of Ancient Babylon. None of this made any sense to him.... Save for two things. The Purple wings the Phoenix held, seemed very similar to the ones that just formed on his back. And the girl, seemed to almost perfectly depict this Observer that he met upon touching the Artifact. Could this be depicting an event so ancient, any records didn't even make it into any mythological legends that survived to this day? Timothy began to ask this question and many more, as the artifact continued to pull him towards the resting place for the Final Key. The Key of Stolen Flame. Perhaps, with the final piece in place, he could find answers for what this all meant. At least that was his hope.
Chapter 9: Upon Attaining Apotheosis
The ruins of the Ancient Tower turned out to be far more vast than even Timothy could have ever realized, not that he had much time to sightsee given the fact that he was being dragged around at a high speed towards the final key. As he got dragged further and further into the deepest parts of the Ancient Tower, the artifact resonated stronger and stronger, pulling Timothy even faster than before abruptly stopping him in front of a Crystal Chalice with a foreboding Purple and Blue flame sitting on it's rim. Seeing this actually surprised Timothy quite heavily, as he attempted to head the other direction, wanting nothing to do with this chalice. But the artifact had other plans, forcing him to stay put until he grabbed the chalice. Begrudingly, Timothy picked up the chalice off the pedestal, and waited for the worst. Immeditely he regretted his decision, as the two flames leaped from the chalice onto his very form, before proceeding to completely envelop him, painfully forcing him into his final transformation, his hands turning into talons, his arms into wings, and the rest of his body being covered by feathers enflamed in the same purple flame from the chalice. Timothy had become the very same Phoenix depicted on the mural he found earlier. Upon this realization, Timothy went to try and head to the Mural again to try and find answers, but he soon found that it was too late. A massive slab of rock had fallen from the ceiling, blocking the mural. The Ancient Tower, was beginning to collapse entirely. And he was right in the deepest parts of it! Panicking from this realization, Timothy Immedietely attempted to escape the crumbling ruins, rushing through the twisting passage that the artifact dragged him through before realizing he was moving way too slowly. Parts of the tower had already came crumbling down upon the path, blocking his only exit from the Tower.. Or so he thought. The Artifact, sensing his despair, sent a beam into the air above erasing a part of the ceiling, letting the crisp outsideair into the ruins. Timothy immedeitely realized what the artifact was suggestion by this. If he was to escape being buried within these ruins, he would have to do the impossible. He had to fly out, a feat no man had ever pulled off. But, no man had ever transformed into a mythical beast of legends like the Phoenix either. Unfurling his new wings, Phoenix attempted to dart into the sky, spinning himself in mid air for a bit in order to generate sufficent centrifugal force to escape the ruins directy. After a few embarrasing attempts, he gathered just enough speed from the centrifugal force he generated to dart straight up and out of the ruins, just in time to see the tower fully collapse.
Chapter 10: No hard feelings right?
After attaining flight, Timothy was surprised by how natural this all felt, but the exhilaration from being the first man to fly under their own power wore off quickly once he realized that he wasn't the only one trapped in the ruins. He could hear the sound of a young girl from deep inside the ruins. Wasting no time to see who it even was or why they were in there, Timothy immedietely backtracked and bolted right back into the ruins to find whoever was trapped inside.
Personality
Motivation
Similar to the other Triqeutra leaders, Phoenix's Motivations are not always too clear. On the face of it, it's clear he wishes to protect the Nexus and ensure it's safety. However.... If one is just to look at the surface, they tend to miss the underlying reasons for why one does what they do. So you would think the best way to get to the heart of their motivation would be to ask them directly. Which, is exactly what we did and this was the answer he gave:
To reattain what was lost, to quell the storms inside, and find meaning beyond what I was meant to be. She told me I was meant for more than what Management made me to be. "one of the steps to a greater scheme in all of reality"
Whether or not she actually meant that of if she was just saying that to get me to snap out of my wallowing so I could save my Nieces, I honestly don't know. Ancients lke her were never particularly forthcoming.
