Personal history

Garreth never knew his parents, since he was left by them at the doorsteps of the orphanage in East Gondolin at the age of 4. In Gondolin Halflings was seen as «Half as good» as humans, and nobody wanted to adopt the poor boy. At the age of 11 Garreth took matters in his own hands and left the orphanage and took to the streets of the city. Here he was quickly presented to a gang of other urchin children, under the leadership of «Billyboy», a 14 year old thiefling. Where he learned how to fetch for himself, and steal from the rich and spoiled upperclass. He learned to use his natural halfling body to his advantage, and he learned to trust his gangmembers with his life, and in doing so becoming extremely lojal to the people in his group. If you gained Garreths trust, he would be a lifelong friend.
 
This small gang of misfits, called «The Misfits» became during the next 9 years one of the most notorious gangs of East Gondolin. Garreth had at this point become one of the top ranking members of the gang. This didn’t go by without notice. One night they got challenged by one of the other major youthgangs of the city, «The neverseen cutpurses». They challenged Garreth to steal a orb, rumored to have mystical power. This orb was found in one of the most important Houses of Gondolin, House Clairviews estate. Long story short this mission did not end well, and Garreth was forced to flee the city, becoming one of Gondolins most wanted men. He would never return, without it being completely necessary. Though he missed his gang of misfits every passing day. Since this day he left seeking refuge in the coastal village of Fishtown. Here he would search for new companions, so he maybe one day could return to Gondolin, and complete his mission. But in some ways he was tired of the urchin life. Maybe this could be his chance for something better and new? Our story begins a night where Garreth visits the inn «The Stinking Ale», where he would meet two new adventurers. Could these two maybe be his new gang of misfits?
