Mathias Grigor Story
 
Mathias was born into a loving home with two parents and four siblings, two brothers and two sisters, Mathias being the youngest of the family. His father Pavel (45 if still alive at this moment) was a kind and loving father as was Mathias’s mother Althra (44 if alive at this moment). His brothers, Kosef (oldest of the five siblings(( 30 if alive at this moment)) and Fodel (second youngest of the siblings(( 27 if alive at this moment)) play fought often making the father Pavel wait until the winner was decided to punish only one child (the winner since the loser was already beaten) instead of both. His sisters Kara (Second oldest((29 if alive at this moment)) and Zora (middle child((28 if alive at this moment)) helped their mother around the house with daily upkeep and cooking. Their town of Fangoth wasn't a big town but it had a very tight knit community, everyone helped everyone with their troubles and misfortunes. Pavel was the leader of the town watch, which was basically a group of fathers of the town that numbered to about twenty. Pavel also was the towns general store owner of which there was one so money, while not much compared to others, came in well enough for the Grigor family. Life was good for the family after Mathias’s birth for 4 years.
 
One Autumn night, Mathias (age 4 at this point) awoke to men yelling through the town streets, and the grigor family except Pavel who was with the town guard awoke confused. Pavel came through the door covered in blood and sweat, a terrified look on his face. One word came from his mouth, “Slavers”. The next few moments were a blur to Mathias, glass shattered, wood splintered and screams, oh god the screams. Kosef quickly picked up Mathias and ran into the furthest bedroom in the home. He began to pull on the wooden floor boards which revealed a small crawl space under the home. Kosef placed Mathias into the crawlspace and the yells were getting louder and Mathias could hear his mother sobbing and begging. Kosef looked down at Mathias, tears in his eyes and choked on almost every word as he whispered “Be safe brother, stay quiet and you will be okay.” he quickly turned back to check the door, then turned back toward Mathias “I love you, I promise I’ll see you again someday.” he then place the floorboard back. Only moments later Mathias heard the door burst and Kosef yell in a fit of rage that even a barbarian would be impressed. But then there was a loud smack and a thump onto the floor above Mathias. Mathias heard a graveled voice speak, “Damn idiot, why’d you go and make me knock your ass out, now I have to drag your sorry ass to the wagon” Mathias could hear his brothers body be dragged. Then silence, and after a few moments Mathias heard a voice, “I know you’re under the floorboards child”
 
Mathias was to scared to move as the Orc reached to grab him, and with one had the Orc lifted Mathias from the crawlspace. “Good,” the orc said and he smiled menacingly at Mathias, “you’ll fetch a fine price for your age, the younger you are, the better.” Mathias was carried by one hand around his neck, as if it was a small ball, through his home which was destroyed. Then into the streets of Fargoth, which was being ransacked toward a convoy of wagons, of which one was left. Mathias could barely see the other wagons being carted off, knowing his family was in one. Mathias went catatonic at this point, as the last wagon was filled with seven other children and two women. Mathias then watched in silence as Fargoth was slowly leaving his sight and his life as a slave began
 
Mathias never saw any of his family members after that night, not knowing what happened to any of them.
He was sold off at a port near Two Creek, the port name was Icker Cove
The only information Mathias knows of the Orcs were that they wore orange colors that had the emblem of a rattlesnake
At first Mathias was sold from the Orcs to a leader of slavers known as the “Blodehelm Twelve” located outside the town of Despair.
The Blodehelm Twelve slaver group quickly sold Mathias to a wealthy corrupt human businessman who used blackmail and dirty tactics to force a small town known as Brunst into his pocket. Mathias was told to call the man Master Karvis. Mathias spent 2 years there being beaten by the man, and as a butler to clean his home.
At age 6 Mathias was sold off to a slave ship disguised as a merchant ship called the “Frogs Legs” this ship which sailed out of Tsazhi bounced around the coast of the New Sea eventually reaching its final destination of the North Keep before sailing back. Mathias was bought at the North Keep after several months on the ship in terrible conditions with other slaves, many of which died.
His new owner Findal who was an Orc took Mathias into the mountains near Long ridge and used mathis to help build and fortify a bandit camp they called “Knife's Point”
Mathias spent most of his childhood (ages 6 to 13) here being beaten, tortured and used as a punching bag by the bandits whenever he wasn't being used to build up walls or shacks.
