Tales of the DrakeWarden

The Cursed One:
Leonardo was once a boy of 10 years old living in a town called Oakmill, located in the deep forest, southeast of the hollow. Many inhabitants adapted to the lands and worked as hunters. It was a dark beautiful night, subtly lit up by the glowing bioluminescent sky. Leonardo decided to explore the deep green lush forest all on his own. Everything was going fine, as the animal wildlife were making noise all throughout the forest, the river stream naturally running water through the canals and many other natural noises filled the forest, all until a certain moment, all sounds in the forest suddenly come to a stop and a very thick fog slowly begins rolling in. The forest quickly began looking haunted and intimidating. Leonardo was lost and didn't know what to do, until he saw two giant glowing eyes appearing through the fog. It was a giant beast, the size of the very tall trees that surround the forest. Leonardo could not see what sort of monster was in front of him, but its mere presence stopped him from even moving, let alone escape. He then hears a very loud sound that came from the monster "YOU..". The fog quickly dissipates, revealing the enormous creature that spoke to him. It was an enormous majestic ancient golden dragon with golden scales and golden claws. its skin was so bright, it softly illuminated the area surrounding it. Leonardo was too amazed and impressed by the sheer presence of such a creature, that his fear of it completely disappeared. He had no idea of what to do but to listen to what it has to say. The dragon speaks.. "YOU.. chosen one, will witness and accept my gift to you". The dragon disappears and Leonardo soon rushes to his home, explaining everything to his parents. They never believed him and Leonardo went to sleep that night still thinking of that incredible sight of the majestic golden dragon.
 
Exiled Boy:
Three days later, during the bright sunny day of the hollow, the town begins to rumble. All the villagers begin to panic and worry for what soon will follow. A group of drakes begin to ravage the town of Oakmill and have destroyed mostly every house and every structure of the town. After such a terrifying and devastating event, the villagers of the town of Oakmill found Leonardo playing with drakes in the forest and accused him of planning and executing the destruction of the village with those creatures. wrongly accused and misunderstood, Leonardo was banished from the town never to be seen by them ever again. His parents were forced to accept his fate, crying while their child was being dragged out of the town in front of their eyes. With nowhere to go and no one to talk to, Leonardo was alone and afraid.
 
The Drakes:
Walking down the road after a few hours, Leonardo was found by the drakes that befriended him. The Drakes knew or felt what had occurred to him. The Drakes understood his emotions and his feelings and Leonardo understood theirs. The group of drakes took the little boy in to their nest. A place rather far but not too far from the village that exiled him. in this lush deep forest, the drakes taught little Leonardo how to be a hunter. They showed him how to travel through the forest's rooftops, jumping from each branch he encountered. Little by little, he adapted to their ways and eventually became one of them. The drakes saw little Leonardo, now all grown up, as a family member of their nest. Now an adult, Leonardo left the nest of the drakes and wished them good luck as he sets out on a quest to learn more on what happened on that fateful night and why he was cursed by the great ancient gold dragon.
 
Up Draft:
Later in his travels, he begins to put his new skills to the test by accepting various quests from the adventurer's guild. After each and every quest he has completed, he has gotten more perceptive of the world around him despite his foolish and idiotic nature. yet because of his absolute zero self-preservation and idiotic nature, no one ever really wanted to join his party until one day where a group of three members asked Leonardo to join them in their adventures. The group was very well balanced and from what Leonardo could see, they were telling the truth, they genuinely wanted him to accompany them in the party. Leonardo was amazed by how they were the first to invite him after so many rejections. He gratefully joins their party and quickly comes to understand where they come from and who they are. First we have a Cleric named Manato filled with determination and courage. He wields a staff and never backs down from a fight as he heals all his teammates in conflict. Next we have a very skillful mage called Xemnas who specializes in ice magic. They are cold to the touch in a figurative sense and a literal sense yet they still have a soft spot under it all. Finally we have the leader of the group who is a very short-tempered swordsman called Durendal who wields a red Odachi (Long-blade Katana).
 
Sudden Storm:
Leonardo and his new found friends would go on various expeditions and quests in look for glory and adventure. This continued for a year and a half until one unforgettable day where the team visits a cave filled with monsters for a quest. during the quest, Leonardo and Durendal were fighting and arguing about leadership. This makes the others try to stop them from fighting and causes the whole party to become vulnerable and unaware of what is going on around them. as they explored the cave, the team were intercepted by an unexpected group of monsters who surprised them from a secret part of the cave. This causes a commotion, making the whole cave rumble from the unexpected battle. the monsters were surprisingly more powerful and way stronger than the monsters mentioned in the quest logs. Manato and Xemnas were injured and Leonardo was faced with a very difficult and important choice. Durendal lifts up his two teammates who were injured and said he will stay to fight the monsters. Leonardo used a torch and attracted all the monsters giving an opportunity for his friends to escape. He said "DURENDAL! Enough with this nonsense, were are friends, were are comrades! you won't have to repay me for this.. Go now! escape with our friends and don't look back!". Leonardo jumps down the dark rocky chasm with his torch attracting all the monsters. The Beasts follow him down the hole while Durendal escapes the cave carrying both Xemnas and Manato. Leonardo falls into the water below the chasm and escapes through a secret underwater exit that leads to a nearby river outside. He never saw his friends ever again after that fateful day.
 
New Day:
Parting from his friends after that tragic event, Leonardo continues forward on his quest to find the ancient dragon, traveling through the roads of the hollow. After a month, Leonardo hears about this organization of soldiers and mercenaries called The Order that fight against chaotic creatures who threaten the lands. He joins The Order as a mercenary, and his story continues from here.
