Scruffy young boy, who was born in one of the Ten Towns with his brother Iain. Grit guided the Frozen Wan's to the Chosen Village, and disappeared with his brother.

Grit and Iain are brothers born in Ten Towns. Their parents died, or were lost, and they were left by their grandparents in the Chosen Village. They were accused of stealing from the Chosen Relics. Iain returned and was held in captivity until his debt was paid, Grit didn't return until he guided the Frozen Wan's to the Chosen Village. Not expecting to have to serve a sentance, Grit did everything he could to get out of the village quickly. Eventually the Frozen Wan's paid both Grit's and Iain's debts and left them with Twinkle.
 
Current location for both Grit and Iain is unknown.
