Personal history
Rhapsody was born Estred Brynelis to a human father, Bancroft Brynelis, and a high elven mother, Drusilia Holimion. Her father is a high ranking member of the Legion and trained Estred in the art of forgery. Drusilia was a performer and trained Estred in the musical arts.
Growing up, Estred showed quite a knack for forgery and often was brought in for jobs with the Legion. Her first love, however, was music. As often as she could manage, she could be found creating and performing music,. She performed in the streets and at local taverns for extra coin.
As young children, Estred and her older brother, Wilimar, often found themselves playing in a small patch of woods just outside of the Zhækhtu Gate. One afternoon, they were cornered by a giant spider. In their time of need a halfling man stepped up, slew the monster and introduced himself as the Traveling Troubadour. Once he was sure they were safe, he vanished before their very eyes. A few years later, Estred again caught sight of the Traveling Troubadour as he and a small group finished off a goblin raiding party. A third time, she saw the man right after completing a set at one of the local taverns. In the corner of the crowded tavern was the Traveling Troubadour, along with the rest of the group she had spotted fighting the goblins. This time, she could not pass the opportunity to speak to the eclectic group. Upon talking to the group, she found out the Traveling Troubadour was actually a bard named Teddy. He traveled with a group of adventurers calling themselves, "Ronic Revelry." They recounted a few tales, and by the end of the night, Estred knew she had found her calling.
When she reached adulthood at age 20, Estred claimed the name Rhapsody and left home to follow Ronic Revelry under the tutelage of Teddy. Rhapsody spent the next three years traveling the nation and observing her mentor and his friends, even assisting on some of the easier jobs. Between jobs, Teddy taught Rhapsody some magic. One day Ronic Revelry was hired for an important job that would take them far away for an uncertain period of time. Due to her inexperience, Rhapsody was left behind. She now seeks a group of her own and homes that someday she will again hear from the Traveling Troubadour.
