Protector of the Palantir of Amon Sûl and son of the second prince, Erendur defends the Weather hills with the rangers of the Northern downs and his Palantir guard. Erendur in his stewardship of the Palantir has grown quite attached to it, though in this he has also gained great insight and prowess in its utilization, such that none but the Seers might match him in the use of the Amon Sûl stone and its offensive abilities.
 
Erendur is the son of the Valiant Lady Elwing and the Annatheldyn known as The Scholar, The Read, and The Erudite.
