A young peasant baker who will do anything for her only family. Though an untrained fighter, she fights her fate in a bid to rescue everything she holds dear.

Born in Korçë, an outlier town around Everhold. There she worked as a baker and caretaker for her kid brother Samir after both parents died. Samara was generally regarded as a very pretty girl, but had to focus on keeping her little brother out of trouble before anything else. She tried to avoid getting too involved with boys but would talk about them with the other village girls, enjoying a good gossip.
 
This all changed when the draft came and Samara found herself one of the few members of the village chosen to go out into war as a conscript. After a few days of paltry training, she was sent out to fight and fell quickly in battle during a skirmish. She didn’t stay dead for long, however, as a parasite made its way into her body. It’s been a year since and she continues to try to get back to her brother, contending with a second, dark personality that has manifested thanks to the parasite, and the general stigmas and challenges of undeath.
 
After an untimely second death, she has since been revived thanks to a pact made with a powerful being. Though the parasite is gone, it’s effects on her still linger.
