Baraz Du'al is a handsome human male, well groomed, with a thick beard. He was born in Delos, or more accurately "bred" as part of the Delian breeding and colonization program, and is genetically descended from one of the passengers who died in the Essok VI crash. A Delos native, he grew up in a small agricultural collective near the Torgathian border. As an apprentice farmer and trader Du'al traveled and traded extensively with Torgathian sugran growing up. He became inspired by and eventually heavily influenced by Gurratan philosophy in his adolescence.

Upon reaching adulthood at the Sekoran age of five, Baraz Du'al relocated to Gurrat, where he earned a living for a few Sekoran years at the trades he was already well trained in, as well as making a name for himself as an excellent Sugranese-Yeamese interpreter. He currently works for the Gurratan government.
