Born into a small Logging town in the north of mirkwood young Euric quickly took to wood craft often following the trappers deep into the forests. On one such excursion Euric found large tracks he had never seen before when he returned to the trappers terrified they laughed it off and claimed he was being frighted of ghosts nothing could evade the noses of their hounds. Unconvinced but unwilling to leave the group Euric stuck near by until they returned to the village. Upon their return they found that a great beast like a wargh but strangely twisted had rampaged through town, with a dozen killed before the wood cutters of the town could return to slay the beast with their great spitting axes. Among the fallen was Eruic's mother. It became known that Euric had discovered the tracks and the town was convinced that he had not done a good enough job convincing the trappers of the danger, none more so than Euric's father. Over the following days Euric was beaten bloody by his grieving father and was met with icy contempt by the others of his village so Euric gathered his bow, his father's ax, his mother's leather necklace, and as much supplies as he could carry and fled into the forest. Euric was 12 so he relied on speed and stealth to survive, the first months were hard but Euric's wood craft had been honed for years and he knew what could and could not be eaten in the area around his home with that he survived a 7 months alone before he decided to venture out into the world...
As Euric turned 19 the mountains called to him and he got himself a job guarding a caravan from old Ford to the shire. It was a large caravan with many well equipped soldiers but a caravan-er from the wilderland vouched for Euric's skill with the bow and promised better food with a man of the wild along. It was in the high pass when things started to go wrong, First a couple chance rock slides that would slow the caravan or crush a cart but as they became more numerous some got concerned and their was talk of goblins about. The merchant's in charge of the caravan sent forth the soldiers of the caravan to clear the path ahead and the more limber among us were sent above to secure the cliffs. It was unlikely that any significant numbers of goblins were operating on this rout and these tactics proved that they were not confident they could take the caravan in a straight fight. after a few days of high alert it no longer felt necessary to scale the cliff each way to rejoin the caravan at night so Euric perched himself on a defensible rock and set to preparing a meal. That was when Euric first heard the scrape and jingle of metal faintly on the wind. It was coming from the wrong side of the mountain to be the caravan so in the fading light Euric began to investigate. it took nearly an hour for Euric to get to a proper vantage and full darkness had come but that didn't matter Euric could now see a sea of torches goblins easily twice the number of the caravan were moving up a hidden pass that would lead them to the rear of the caravan. Euric went for his whistle to signal the caravan of trouble, no code had been decided on but the wild men of the caravan would know the old codes. after whistling Euric spotted a ledge above the pass and set about preparing to break it down on top of these goblins, he would not leave it to others to decide the defense this time. As the first rays of the dawn fire peaked over the mountains Euric scrambled away from his trap and got a glimpse of the caravan it appeared his warning had not been given note, 3 board looking guards stood to the caravan's rear. Euric determined that he would make sure that was enough. Euric stood and whistled again before firing an arrow that triggered his trap crashing boulders down killing many goblins and alerting the caravan to action behind. The goblins hit the back of the caravan in a disorderly jumble with barely a 10th the number he had seen the night before, it was a complete route by the time the goblins got there more soldiers and arrived to forma shield wall that never broke. The woodmen of the wilderness who had seen him standing in the sun that day bestowed the name Falcon on him that day for his loyal defense and raptor's wrath as he struck from above. Euric decorated his mother's neckless long sense turned into arm band with two tail feathers from the bird he had been liked too. In other darker places his actions were also noticed but they were not honored rather they were the reason Euric was condemned to death by the darkness.
For his many remaining years Euric would hound the culprits of injustice across Arthedain, first beginning in Fornost-Erain scouring the courts and their officials for the cause of the betrayal at the siege, however his earlier efforts in conjunction with its near state of continuous martial law reduced its crime to near zero with a matter of months. Upon his departure the multitudes of the nymphs of nessa and elves of the Nodloran wept and lamented in song at his parting, grooming and doting upon Uther until the last moment. With their freedom returned the two set out cleansing various towns across the Kingdom and visiting his comrades along the way. Euric’s journeys eventually brought him back to the capital of Annúminas in which he spent his remaining days protecting the city, aiding the local authorities, and bringing order and a sense of justice to the city upon lake Nenuiel.
