Physical Description

Alva is pale to the point of sickness and has lost some weight in recent years, making her very slim and almost gaunt.

Identifying Characteristics

She has long scars on her face, going over her right eye, which is blind.

Apparel & Accessories

When working in the tavern she wears simple but sturdy, nature-toned clothing. Although not actively participating in fights anymore, she still keeps her sword close and her gambeson and plate mail battle-ready.

Specialized Equipment

Alva always wears a simple amulet around her neck. The amulet was forged from silver and has a glass bead, made by mixing molten glass with her husband's ashes, set into it.

Mentality

Personal history

Alva used to actively fight against the armies of the Necromancer Tyrant with her Alathar Brightwood until he got killed and was raised as a minion to the Necromancers army. She ended up killing her raised partner and burning his body. At the behest of her sister, she has since stopped participating in skirmishes.

Employment

Together with her sister Isabelle, she runs The Dancing Damsels Inn in Moorbrook. Alva is one of the key figures of the resistance, providing a safe haven and a place to gather recourses for other members of the Resistance.

Personality

Motivation

She is still suffering from the loss of her husband and Thiramin, and as a consequence, she is very protective of those she loves, while having little regard for her own survival and well-being. She is always busy doing something or another for The Resistance, mostly to keep herself occupied and distracted from her loss.

Vices & Personality flaws

Alva blames herself for Alathar's death. He died by protecting her from an arrow that most likely would have killed her. She believes that it should have been her who died in that battle.

Personality Quirks

As a result of the death of her Thiramin, she gets cold really easily and occasionally starts randomly shivering.

Alva Brightwood is in her early thirties and is the older sister of Isabelle Brightwood. Her late husband died in the fights against the Necromancer Tyrant.
