The latter is written in first person and as far as I can determine very accurate. This makes me believe that the person who gave the books to you might very well have been Ygs wearing a disguise.

Clay clan demon portal destroyed

Luckily there was only one portal in the caves of the Clay Clan.

The Afryan armies are now holding the entrances of the Clay clan with a planned assault to start in an hour. This place seems very much less threatening than the mountains of the High Hill clan. I just got a report that demons have started coming out of the caves of the clay clan. @7fe44b08-6f93-4737-894d-6b820822d56d , the caves between the high hill clan and the clay clan are not supposed to be connected, right? It might be that you just found one portal of many, or one part of a larger construction. Either way, The Afryan army will have to retreat a bit in order to avoid a fight on two flanks. I just got a message from the front lines at the cave entrances that explains what has been going on in the mountains. Paraphrasing it says that goblins have stopped charging and have instead been replaced by demons.
