The matriarch of the Whitblade family, Seraphina was a kind and sharp-witted woman who loved fiercely and created happily. She was never close to her daughter, Nadia, as she had sent her away for many years in order for her to be educated in a way Seraphina never was. Though she tried to reconnect in her last years, Nadia was never receptive to her attempts at closeness, and Seraphina died without reaching the closeness she desired with her daughter. She was, however, very close to her grandchildren, Hélena and Theodore, and tried to succeed in raising them where she had failed with Nadia.
