A part-elven native of Malfa. Always elegantly dressed in inexpensive clothes. Acts more hifalutin than she is
A part-elven native of Malfa. Her ancestors were Maveren, but about a century ago they did something criminal enough that they were expelled from the People. This possibly has something to do with the fact that they descended from high elves, not sea elves, and practiced an exotic and (to Maveren) dangerous form of magic.
Tjeli has a chip on her shoulder about all this. Her twin ambitions are 1) to collect and learn more magic, not just her family’s magic but as much as she can, and 2) to climb the social ranks of Malfa. Whether this means becoming Maver, or attaining enough status and power to tell the Maveren to go fuck themselves, is unclear. She’s well-versed in gossip about the Maveren, but she’s young and perhaps not quite as clued-in and unscrupulous as she thinks she is. Currently she’s doing legwork for Valdas Nykomin, in hopes this will help her own long-term ambitions.
