Appearance

Physical Description

Halle is very petite, but toned due to the many years her parents made her take dance lessons. She also has surprisingly strong arms from her banjo playing.

Body Features

Halle has light blue skin with dark blue freckles all over her chest, shoulders, and arms. Her slightly pointed ears are adorned with various silver earrings she's collected or been given over the years, her favorite being an ear cuff that Amelia made and gave to her before she started at the Academy. Because Halle's mom used to always comment on how unruly her hair was, she normally wears her hair thrown into a messy bun with some front pieces left out. However as of late, Halle is trying to get more comfortable leaving her hair down.

Facial Features

Halle has high cheekbones, a heart-shaped face, and a slightly up-turned nose. She has a bright, warm smile and a very expressive face.

Apparel & Accessories

Halle wears a short dark purple dress with three-quarter length sleeves and green grape vines along the trim. Over top of the dress she wears a leather corset vest that's embossed with flowers and around her neck she wears a green scarf tied in a french knot. Under the skirt of her dress she wears a white petticoat to give her skirt slightly more volume. The left side of her skirt is pined up to her belt to give her easy access to the dagger she keeps in a holster on her upper left thigh. She wears brown leather knee-high boots that have a small heal to give her a little extra height. On her belt she has a few pouches that hold various items such as her newly acquired Dragon-Touched focus, tuning pipe, harmonica, among other things. Finally, Halle never goes anywhere without her trusty banjo that she wears around her torso via a strap adorned with grapes and grape vines.

Personal history

Halle is the youngest child of Lucien and Bonnie Baudet, the proprietors of Baudet Winery and Vineyard. From a very young age Halle marched to the beat of her own drum, rarely doing what her parents expected of her. For as long as Halle could remember, she struggled to fit in in her own home. Her parents never understood her and what made her happy, they were constantly trying to mold her into something that she wasn't. Halle was dramatic, loud, and outgoing, all traits that Halle's parents believed were "unbecoming" of a young lady.

Growing up on the vineyard, Halle struggled to make friends. All of her parents friends kids thought Halle was weird and dorky and even though she had her sister, Halle often felt very lonely. One day when Halle was 11, Bilbanok told her to come down to the Workers Quarters after her lessons for the day were done. When she arrived Bil introduced her to the newest Baudet Vineyards employee, a centaur named Amelia. Bil asked Halle to show her around, get her acquainted with the property, and make her feel welcome. Halle did just that and before too long, her and Amelia were the best of friends. As the years went on, Halle and Amelia only grew closer. Amelia was the only person that Halle felt like she could be completely herself around, she never judged her or made her feel like she needed to change who she was.

Education

Halle had a number of private tutors throughout her elementary and secondary years that came to the vineyard to teach her and her older sister history, math, science, etc.

When Halle was 16, her parents sent her to the Monarch Musical Academy in Throne after a string of, what Halle's mother called, "outbursts." For the next four years Halle would spend the majority of the year at the Academy only coming home in between terms, much to her parent's chagrin. Halle would always give her parents some made up reason that she needed to come home between terms when in reality she really just wanted to come to see her best friend, Amelia.
