A friendly mage with a cosmic bent. Her grandmother is a constellation and can occasionally be called on to provide orbital strikes capable of destroying islands. Starlight is currently acting as a mentor and minder for Torenon, who was previously a major villain.
 
Born Angelese Polaris, in keeping with her country's conventions she took a "mage name" upon attaining the rank of Mage. Mages traditionally choose a name that reflects their specialties, and Starlight was no exception.
