Zigmund Zensara, or Ziggy, as his friends call him, grew up with his mother, father, and older sister Eliza Zensara , in the newly renamed town of Goldenglow, where his family owned a local restaurant. Ziggy and Eliza's mother, a quite out of place Moon Elf, used to put her children to sleep telling stories of her travels in the world, both in the material plane, as well as the Feywild. The tales of the vast world, and the wonder's and dangers she spoke of tantalized the young Zigmund, making him want more and more from his seemingly average life.
 
As Ziggy got older and older, he started to take on more and more responsibility in his family's business. When his mother needed supplies, he would make the trek to near by cities, picking up trinkets, and other interesting things when he could from local traders. This was as close to seeing what the world had to offer as he could get, until one day he found something, or someone rather, who would rapidly change the course of his life.
