Journal entry.
I stood up for myself today. I remembered what Ada Bel always says: Though we are shaped of stone, we are not made of it. If we let others chip us down, we will wear down, much more like flint than granite. So we must make of ourselves an avalanche, forceful and terrifying, so that the careless miner shall learn to leave us alone. And I did! HAH! I chucked my arm at the rude red haired one! He was mocking me, and mocking is NOT okay. Twacked them in the face with my own arm! HAHAHAHA. I should probably not tell my Adas that I broke my arm twice in a row, though. It will take a lot of effort to fix it, but no worries! I am the brilliant Gimizh, unstoppable and terrifying, I shall fix it in no time. Just, might ask Thomas to get it for me from the office, I am really exhausted right now-
The entire triggering event was actually really cool. We saw this magical tree thing, clearly ancient, like, ANCIENT, and like, I so so badly wanted to learn why we mustn't touch it. And I just, I don't know... It is hard to try on my own? Its scary! But then Thuersdai (I had to ask her how to spell it. Did you know, it sounds like the word for a weekday in common?) told me to do it anyway, as if she could read my mind. So I popped off my arm (once again, do not tell my Adas that detail, they hate when I play with it) - touched the three and it EXPLODED. Fully! In pieces so small it took me far longer than usual to mend it up again! It was wild!
OH! And when I sucker-punched that meanie with my own arm (I used the Catapult spell that I learned!) Morgan ('The Morgan'?) gave me a FIST BUMP. He is one of my best friends! And Thuersdai
Also, note to self, tomorrow morning, remember to post letter to my Adas.
Gimizh out.
Atop a pile of notes lie a letter to be sent, addressed to the city of Amsa, written in the first week, but clearly forgotten to be sent yet. Several bright stones lie on top of it, as if to draw attention to it. It will work, one day.
"To my honorable Adas
I have made friends. You don't need to worry anymore.
By Stone and Heart,
Gimizh"
