Session 2

by Seria Valtyra

On the way to the castle there is no path, the castle is large and decrepit, with a massive dragon skeleton laid over it. This landscape is so gorgeous that I wish to draw this.

Rather intense conversation about reviving the dead today, these two really do end up on opposite ends at times

During the argument I heard someone calling for help, they were surrounded by undead and looking near death themselves. Nemesis said something about this being a challenge and then disappeared. The fight was difficult, I got heavily damaged, but I did it. I won against the wraith on my own and with my mace.

Our previously injured friend's name is Alfy, -they are very cute-. I can feel my face glowing when I look at them. Though my mind can't help but wonder what kind of challenge this was meant to be.

The temple near Dragonspear castle is both beautiful and sad, so much was here, so much history, all gone so long ago you wouldn't even find a resonance of what once was. The stories here are so different from the ones I heard growing up. Alfy says its because my temple is far from the oldest one and that the priests are not true priests just bastards making a mockery of a temple they call Loki's. Apparently many other temples and followers have been waiting for me to get out of that place, and Loki seems to have a goal for me to find other false temples and take care of them. I hope my family is doing ok, I worry deeply for them.

Alfy says they are different so they can speak with Loki and that they are here to help me. I sure hope so, as this has brought on more questions than it has answered. They might have simply been Loki or perhaps an avatar of his. They said the fates of myself, Nemesis and Keth are intertwined, that our own dances and goals have looped them together. Keth and Nemesis have begun the discussion on resurrections again, I understand where both side is coming from, and I wish there wasn't so much anger.

*gorgeous photo realistic charcoal drawing of the castle and mountains*

While sketching this morning Agaz showed up, he asked if I had seen his kid and I hadn't but when I called down Nemesis said she had him. Once that was sorted Agaz lead us back to his family's home and introduced us. His wife has turned out to be Keth's aunt, though they've never met before. Keth was warned about Thar, his cousin who is apparently trouble.

We asked about the fire hand woman, no one reacted well. She is very firm in her beliefs, she is an Aasimar with purple gray skin, scars, deep eyes, black hair, and burned hands. She is an Aasimar as well as a paladin. She apparently hunts Viktor for revenge for something.

The rebel of the gods have been attacking small villages in aturguard, and have apparently invested in a ship. Between them and this fire hands woman, we won't know who started the fire.

I learned of Nemesis' dad Jaan, he was a prominent member of the Monastery of the Yellow Rose, a collection of lawful good monks dedicated to venerating their god, and working to survive in their temples harsh environments. Their god is St Sollars, the twice martyred, the broken god. They live on the Earthspur mountains, near the Glacier of the White Worm. Grand Master of Flowers Kane was from here and was very instrumental and brought the downfall of the Witch-King of Vaasa.

We received a wagon from Duke Shadowwalker, its very nice and with Nemesis' skills we made brilliant time to the Boareskyr Bridge, there is a small Fort named Tamal here and we have set up campground for the night near by. Tomorrow we will speak with the people and see what we can do.
