Wish we went north (entry 5)

Over the past week I we have been working on fixing up the farm, looking pretty nice.
Then one morning the Myconid from a couple hundred years ago showed up on the farm, talked about a traveling and the next day he talked about meeting a resistance on the other side the lake. The fella's memory and consciousness seem pretty sketchy. We had three options to get across the lake go north through the wasteland, south through the grasslands, and straight across. At first I wanted to go straight across since that would be fastest. The our mushroom friend mentioned something called a "rask" in the wasteland and it sounds like a threat to the innocent, so it needs to die.
In the end we went south and left some of our comrades at the base, ran into a town. I said we should go around, but no. I stuck with Jan when we went in, saw a bunch of corpses, one of the harpies was still alive and I immediately went for the kill. Apparently we have to clear out a nest to get across a new river.
I hope we are getting paid.
 
Oh yeah, there was something like a prophecy regarding four heroes of darkness, deception, hidden, and forgotten. Each one has a connection to a god or devil. But none of that matters to me, I just want to eradicate evil.
 
We should make a name for our crew.
