LOG 5 – The Dream, Breakfast & Planning – 06/02/2022

Well, after our last foray we all headed to bed, and at least a few of us had a similar dream- or at least it sounded similar. It was pretty weird to be honest, there was this barren rock floating in space that I was standing off, and I was watching the stars around me going out. Then there was this huge but indistinct form above me, with huge eyes staring at me… really freaky, though “apparently” the Doll had a dream about being chased by Bananas instead… pretty sure she’s joking though.
 
I’d already been thinking about why we were here, so I at least suggested to the others that the eyes could be the one who bought us here – since we all arrived together despite being apart, and the first person we met lead us to the heir of Atlantis, and of course the others are the kids of those who raised Atlantis last time. I did also ask Abel about whether there was a dream related super, and he knew one but they were more nightmares than dreams, so less likely to be someone messing with us?
 
AJ started to look for breakfast so I might have had a little fun with him, creating an illusion of bacon and eggs. He totally took the bait and came back round looking kinda pissed off – it was really funny, he is so easy to tease! I first said that I was super hungry so must have accidentally created it, then the others waded in since he’d tried to grab them not knowing breakfast it was  We were still messing about when Abel came through to see what the fuss was about, and I mentioned being so hungry I created the illusion of food – he was pretty nervous at that and I said not to worry, it only happened when I was really hungry and it was entertaining … cue indignant AJ! Realised I’ve been calling him AJ for a while now to his face, but I guess he doesn’t mind.
 
We spent ages just talking about what we would do over our bowls of delicious cereal. Eventually we just decided to scope out the space control centre place and then get smuggled up to the bunker with the paperwork in it so we could liberate it and blow off some steam. I did get some info so I could teleport over there if needed but we decided to go the slow way, just in case.
 
Anyway, yeah, the Space Centre was pretty well defended; there were towers full of guards, lots of patrols and cameras. The street itself was busy, and Impulse noticed that there was a hotel opposite that could be a good vantage point to try and teleport in. There are some vehicles that could be a good way to get smuggled in, and the speedsters could probably get a tower taken out before they let off a peep. AJ also noticed a fuel tank area which could be a bit of a danger if it got exploded so that’s something to be careful of. Velocity left a duplicate just to keep an eye on the place while we headed off to bunker ville
