We have arrived at a hill which has a circle of standing stones on top of it. As we begin our ascent Aldrin fly's up to scout the hill top. Unfortunately before he is able to report back to us, the half orc we have been chasing attacks him with a spell. I retaliate with my own spell and cause sever damage to the leader. We also notice a number of small "twig things" moving down the hill toward us, and chanting coming from the top of the hill. The battle against the leader does not take long, a couple more spells and he collapses. He is standing infront of a cave entrance that we will have to explore later. as for the twig things they are easily dealt with using minor spells. The two half orcs chanting on the other hand are encompassed in darkness (stupid bird, I cant use my fireball now to deal quickly with the summoners). Needless to say, between myself, Fenestrae and Aldrin we made quick work of the summoners. Not quick enough however. A giant boar, made of electricity emerges from the darkness. Arget runs forward to prevent the giant boar from getting to those of us less armored. While Arget pounds away at the giant boar, the rest of us use spells and arrows to whittle away at it. Eventually, after a rather potent fireball of mine (If I do say so) the boar tumbles to the ground, alas so does Aldrin. The stupid bird was hiding in the darkness, so I couldn't protect him. Fortunately, Arget hadn't used all of his spells and was able to heal the feather brain. After lootong the bodies and checking the cave for survivors (and some tasty boar meat as well) we left to go back to Phandalin. I wanted to stop and check on Don-Jon at the mine as well and that was almost a deadly side trip. As we approached the mine, the Dragon swooped down and used its icey breath on us. Arget was able to quaff a potion that protected him, but the rest of us needed to hide in the mine. After the Dragon left us, Don-Jon reports the mine was getting up to staff again and production is improving. We spent the night at the mine and in the morning made our way back to Phandalin, keeping an ever watchful eye out for the white wyrm. We plan on taking a couple of days rest in town before heading out for further adventures and we need to decide where to go before we leave for anywhere.
