New shore, new people, and already new tragedies. I have reached the town of Fairhaven and disembarked with new compatriots. The Paladin known as Loy Lightbearer and the Fighter Chad Boswick. Shortly off the rowboat we met with the harbor master, a half orc named Keith, it is good to see my half kin in a respected position in these lands, brings me hope for my own continues existence here. Keith would point us in the direction of the Fair Knight's Rest a local tavern owned by a dwarf named Arvel Durgedown. Outside of the tavern there is a community board which included a salvaging job in the ghost coast to our south. After Arvel pointed us to the individual, we shortly met the wizard Mintobar, who sent us to the ghost coast in order to salvage a portrait of his lost brother. We would depart shortly after meeting with the town's spiritual leader, a tortol named Misu, who blessed our journey and weapons.
The Ghost Coast's is a dangerous place where undead stalk the land, A precursor to the vision I received. Singular undead are easy to eliminate and avoid but combat quickly draws more from all around, Fights must be picked carefully for any future expeditions. Our first day into this land yielded us a strange letter and an unknown sigil. These being earned at the cost of our blood and if we were not quicker, our lives. The night was not restful, a storm was quickly beginning and a dry area was tough to find. The dead do not rest so vigilance must be keep through the night. The morning would lead us to the wreck that held the painting we were searching for. A brief bit of set up before venturing inside. There we would find stores of supplies the town could certainly use and a box containing many magical supplies and the painting this journey was in search of. Strapping this box to my back we prepaired to leave when specters would assail us, escape was all but impossible as the ghosts would drain our life as we sprinted past them. For myself and Loy we would find saftey on the shore, but for Chad, he would lose his life to these spirits.
That boat has not seen the last of me, The letter found raised too many questions that must have answers, and above all Chad must be avenged. To leave a battle brother behind is sacrilege, to leave them unavenged is blasphemy. On my honor i shall rectify these offenses, Gruumsh willing.
