Strange Lands

by Softspeaker Nongo Seaspite

A Shorter journal entry today as the people encountered seemed more important than the journey taken. Loy happened into the fellows who traveled to and cleared out the mine, The dwarven sharpshooter Rurik Stone-eye, the human brawler Godfrey, and the elven naturalist Tonnia. Rurik seemed to be of an exceptional sort, quite accurate and adept at surprise attacks made most of our fights easier, if a dwarf could receive a blessing of gruumsh it would be this one. Tonnia seemed capable but ultimately too fresh to truely be judged, continued observation on that may prove their worth. Godfrey, what can I say about Godfrey, quite honestly I forgot Godfrey was even there. Godfrey never went into the fray nearly as much or as quick as myself or loy nor did he prove his talents at range. He may prove to be worth his weight but I will remain skeptical.

As for what we did, it wasn't much. We found a slain trapper camp and decided to take vengeance upon the goblins who killed them. The others seemed more interested in the gold of the trinkets rather than the proof of revenge.

The most important thing that came of this is I've passed along the message uncovered from the ghost coast to Rurik, as well Rurik seems to be starting an expedition to Chad's Resting. My own vengeance may soon be at hand.
