Things have gotten interesting. Margo and myself got pulled into Strahd's mist to the village of Orasnou. Where we met other victims like ourselves. A lizard woman named Rupta, cleric of the Morninglord who for some reason the way she calls upon his name makes me feel uneasy, not a bad or evil uneasy but like the kind you get when it's embarrasing. Fayre, a human wizard (OBSERVATION- Fayre seems intent on making her looks for some reason, constantly checks her ears.), she appears to have moderate anxiety to where she has a pet or familiar (unsure which) who helps calm her down. Then there's Iangrim, gnome miner with arcane mechanical skill (OBERVATION- Likes to twirl explosives. Most likely wants to go out in a bang then by fang.)
Many things happened at once, from meeting the burgomaster who seems to be just as bad as the Villaki's one that ordered my horns snapped off cause a sickness was going through town and they blamed me. The true cause was a necromancer who they killed and ended the sickness but I was never given a apology too.
The Burgomaster was quick to hire us to investigate the strange occurances in the Quivering Forest. Like usual rumors run rampant on who is behind it but we'll find out soon enough.
On our way out we met a Gregori who was caring for a silver furred wolf pup that he found tied to his porch a few days ago.
We make it to the forest to discover a camp site with bodies torn up all around it. Inspecting the bodies we found evidence of canine bite marks (Observation- Bite marks appeared larger then normal). Searching one body I found a silver dagger which to my knowledge is mainly useful against certain undead- mainly the vampiristic kind. While in the camp a trio of elves from a local village walked up to us and shared some information of a lycanthrope running wild (Note: They were withholding some information but yet who doesn't here).
Sending the elves to Orasnou telling to be a little more cautious after getting there, they helped us find a set of VERY large paw prints leading away from the campsite. Part way following them the paws became humanoid leading to a cave.
Looking inside the cave we saw a half-naked woman covered and blood named Alina, 1 of 2 local trapper we were sent to find. Turns out it was her and Lazlo (the other trapper) who attacked the campsite. Upon further questioning Alina was getting more and more agitated shifted into a werewolf and attacked us. We were able to subdue and get her to shift back to her human form. We assured her that we'll get her help with her curse once we get back to the village.
After arriving back to the village and giving a full report of Lazlo and Alina, he promised to get her the help she needs. Shortly after leaving the mansion the Burgomaster is on the roof and gathers the villagers. I got a very very bad feeling was proven right when we saw them push Alina on the roof with a noose around her neck. Him yelling that the moon cursed her (absolutely ridiculous) pushed her off and killed her.
I have never felt such a desire to kill a man before like I did at this moment!
