No pirate's life for me

by Cloud in the Valley of the Shining Waters

Life sure takes some turns.
I got lost in my search for Orolunga and stumbled my way through the jungle, only to find myself at the gates of some encampment one evening.
Wanting to get some directions, or at least a better vantage from where to find my own way, I knocked on the gate.
The person who opened up seemed a little rough, but friendly and she invited me in. After conversing for a few moments she suddenly smiled and my eyes went out as something hit me in the back of my head.
When I woke up I found myself in a small cave, maybe 12 metres between walls, with the entrance blocked by metal bars and a door, which was locked shut.

Not long after they disappeared out of sight. I took the lack of guards to break the door lock, but this didn't get us far. To our left a tall wooden structure was blocking our way and to our right the cliffs went on.
We sat down, waiting to see if the two others would come back for us.
They did. By blowing a hole in the wooden structure and lowering a rope to let us up, which was a bit unexpected.
The wooden structure housed the pirate treasures, which included my old gear, and a large amount of platinum, gold silver and copper.
