Flyers ahead, find tracks of lizard cart thieves, Kobalts. Five carts w monitor lizard pulling, 5 kobalts, turn back to inform group
 
Setup ambush ahead of carts at canyon mouth and cliff face. Two boulder falls, plus some hidden spike trap. Battle! We win! I find gnomes ag of magic items, steal the shiniest one: shiny red thingy looks like a ruby.
 
Reward for dropping cart back with gnomes is Armor of Gleaming which never gets dirty and get 50gp from Cornelius
