We spoke with a duregar named Captain Blackskull who sees fit to use us to assist them with maintaining order in the city. She is a fool, she wishes to use us to find and capture a darro named Droki, after asking what a darro looked like, her response was less than helpful. "Darro look like darro" she said foolishly instead of the diminutive, crazed, gibbering messes that are mostly kept out of the city... or within their own quarter of the city, I am not sure. She has given us badges to give us the lightest of authorities in the city. It seems to only give us enough pull to move through the city, unfortunately nothing else.
We encountered a duregar who was about to be assassinated on the docks. My intent was to keep the two would be assassins alive and the victim confirm they were indeed trying to kill him. This is not what happened, Zeder killed the one I weakened and the victim ran the moment he was able. We needed to scatter quick before we are blamed for the mess. Blast that boys eagerness... The duregar told us to meet him at the Shattered spire or whatever... I'm hoping he's an important member of a clan and he wishes to employ us to meet out justice against the clan whom tried to assassinate him, this would help us with our... release as it were.
After resting, we went to the shattered spire and met with the duregar we rescued before, he has given us a job to deliver something to another city, no questions. I'm surprised our group did not ask "what's in it for us," especially Kong and Zeder. Zeder always seems... apprehensive when paying money, Kong... well I've noticed the way he looks at things, covets them. I must be wary around that one. The muscle wizard seems the least worrying of the group, other than being obsessed with Stool. Two of the duregar started fighting in the bar, not something that should be uncommon in a bar, but after the two stopped fighting, they seemed to have forgotten why the were fighting... The two didn't appear to be that deep in their cups yet, and the look on their faces were more... befuddled than groggy. I fear the cause of this may be something we've seen recently. I am conflicted, while I am no friend of these people, the demon poses a threat to all. I wonder if we should share our information of the demongorgon existence to mutually benefit each other... However, they may blame us for it just to give them a reason to kill us... that is captain bitch even believes us.
We have spotted the one known as Droki, he has unwittingly introduced us to mushrooms that shrink us. I must remember to take some enlarging mushrooms with me. Might come in handy later... I am trying to remember much of the way as possible, Droki is a fast one for one with such short legs, but his movements are with such purpose. I had thought these Darro incapable of such focus as his brethren seem to be nothing but gibbering madmen. This endeavor may be more than it seems, I am wary into what we may stumble into... Voices up ahead? We must be cautious...
