Our Adventure Begins

At the inn we are asked to take an adventure as I have come of the age to finally get my chance. My cousin BraylIn will join me on my first real adventure. My parents are behind me and I just can't wait to get on the road.
 
After the annual tradition in town where people greeted us with black robes, we were given gear by the mayor and and a ceremonial lantern to start our quest.
 
We adventured toward Engletons hold and were met by what we thought were orcs, but they spoke nonsense words. I knocked an arrow and landed a solid hit. Thrall was hit badly but something seemed strange. Carter was hit hard and he exclaimed it was an illusion, i ran to check his wound and nothing was there. I mad e the decision to see if my mid was playing tricks on me. I lowered my shoulder and ran as fast as I could bashing the orc as hard as I could. There was nothing!! and all the orcs vanished. A large fowl took off from the trees and Kharos hurled a glowing stone at it. It landed squarely and the bird left out words in common indicating its displeasure. Was this a test?
 
We arrived in Engleton's and gave the town a brief look over and decided to search the keep the following day. While deciding our watch, Thrall made a derogatory comment about me as a women. Who the fuck says that. I wont take that from anyone no matter how big and stupid they are. Thankfully our party was smart enough to put the beast to his senses. We all ent to sleep and I had watch with the miracle boy Mueller. His story was fascinating. Sadly he lost most of his sight.
