Angry Bones

We continued are exploration in the spit and trapped strewn room. Braylin followed soot and took and tripped in a pit and Thrall groaned lightly as he tried to open the door as an bolt of electricity shot through his body. The others joined us and began to explore room as well. Im beginning to think someone wants us to die because this is more booby trapped then mama's cookie jar. Mueller also fell into a pit.
 
As everyone explored i noticed the dust in the center part of the room was untouched. I carefully worked my way across the room and despite my best efforts sprung another trap and fell into another pit. this was not as soft as the previous and felt a lump under my backside. I dug and uncovered a small pouch with 6 platinum pieces and note that read :
 
"Three to open, but be quick. For the door will only open for those that work together"
 
Carter helped me from the pit and I shared the note . We discussed and figure that each of the 3 switches we found had to be pressed all at once to open the door. as usual Thrall impatiently based the door but after several attempts ad switch pulls jar the door open.

we moved slowly down the hallway and came upon a door. Thrall tried to force it open but a small slat opened and a crossbow bolt landed in thralls thigh. Some inside was shouting "go away, the angry bones are coming!"
 
Mueller tried to explain who we were but the being on the other side believed we were tricking him like some undead person speaking in their head. I entered the room and tried to explain who we were . he would not change his response and continued to load his crossbow. My cousin tried to reason and even recognized him as Rolldare. He did not come to and shot braylon in the chest squarely. Kharos called upon his G-d to heal him.
 
 
After more reasoning and thrall "bringing him to his senses" i grabbed his crossbow and we let him rest. Upon awakening, rolldare was much calmer explain more about the traps in the place and that his sister Demure was taken. He believed she was still alive. He granted us use of his masterwork crossbow and we went on our way. Shortly after we approached a door ad when we opened it mUeller spotted a dead body around which two large beetles stood. We immediately readied for combat.
 
I fired an arrow and hit with solid impact and the creature respond by spraying some green vile mucus that hit my skin and burned mightly, the other followed suit. Magic misses and stabs with weapons ensued and Braylin stabbed into the mandibles of the creature. Thrall land and massive smash obliterating the bug with yellow guts flying everywhere. again thrall approached the other creature and dismissed it with an equally strong crushing blow. We searched the room but found nothing more but a door near the nest of the creatures.
 
We opened the door and followed a short weaving hallway. at the end we came upon a fire and were met with an incorporeal creature likely left behind after some tragic accident. We tried to subdue it but our weapons were ineffective. Carter tried to cast a spell but it fizzled. Kharos handed his sling to thrall with glowing stones for him to hurl at the undead terror. Using negative energy and the power of the stones the monster was defeated. braylon beached the fire pit and found a magical dagger.
 
We continued searching returning to the room that carter, mueller and Kharos had previously explored and opened the door to a long hallway with statues facing each other every other 10 feet. each had a long sword, however some had leather wrappings around the blade. As thrall went down the hall he stepped on a plate that made the long swords crash. i worked my way across before the trap reset and listened at the door. I heard nothing. the rest of the party continued to make there way across. After much effort to try and break the blades in the path we decided to raise the blades. to ope the path. Meanwhile i opened the door to make room for the others to exit the hallway.
 
Inside the room was a large statue of Engleton, in one hand he held shield with the word "FAMILY" and in the other a shield with the word "HOME".
