Travel Log: Day 4

Day 4:
 
We arose to the last echoes of the rainstorm from yesterday, with only a few drops of rainfall. We gathered our things, bought some more rations, and continued along the road. Now that we were getting into more civilization, there were more roads to follow, so it wouldn't be as difficult to find our way. We passed by a freshwater lake, and filled up our waterskins. About two hours after we set off, we heard yelps of pain. We ran to investigate, and found a stray wolf caught in a bear trap. We freed its leg and wrapped its leg, then went to continue onward. However, instead of running back into the forest, the wolf began to follow us. As much as we tried to make it leave, it wouldn't stop. Seeing it's persistence, we decided to take it along with us. Talia decided to name it Skor, which she said meant strength in her native tongue. Having another mouth to feed, we decided to stop to hunt for some more food, but all we were able to find was a mouse and a crow. We gave the mouse and crow to Skor, and continued onward. We traveled until evening, not encountering anything of interest, and set up camp. We ate some of our rations, and went to sleep.
