Peace with the Bear People

We were hired to make contact with the Bear People and build an alliance with them.
Found a boar, then a tiger attacked it. I killed the tiger.
Came across a mama bear protecting a baby bear. Khodak healed them, however the baby bear was dead. Mama bear led us to the bipedal bears, after going into the woods and leading us past a stream (low, used to be higher).
 
We made contact and through various forms of communication magic, we communicated our intentions of building peaceful relations with the bear people. We were told to sleep and we could talk to the chief in the morning. At night we heard the bear (Paw) screaming and we went to help. Paw was being attacked by weird reanimated mushroom woodland critters. Apparently one of them was her dead baby. It appeared the hotness from a torch and coldness from a spell killed the reanimated woodland creatures.
 
The Great Tree - EEsh uoodk ong Dok in Bear tounge, sacred to the bear people. Given a wooden totem and septur to give to the leader, which Glogmealk keeps for himself.
