Reflections of the Week

by Master Wizard Eldric Gladdenstone

Master Cedar... I hope my actions make sense to you. I don't know if they make much sense to me.

But all I know is that the real world is unforgiving, its a lesson I learned a long time ago when I was younger. But being here in Chisfield has reminded me of that. My associ...companions, have reminded me that. We all have to look out for ourselves and our own interests.

On another note, I have been feeling more powerful as of late, the vital for some reason has been ever so more potent in me in the last month than it has been over the last 30 years of my life.

For what reason is this? All I know for sure is that the path I am pursuing is taking me further towards my goals. I...we will become stronger together. Enough so that no one ever again will look down upon me like the weak and pathetic boy I used to be.

And Zeke - he is certainly interesting as I have mentioned previously. But even more so now; to find out he had latent vital energy passed down to him by his family is truly a gift, albiet also a curse in some respect. His family is a sensitive topic, I wonder who they are, or where they are now, and why he is not with them.

Mavroc - Important note - do not feed him unusual or old meat. His copper neck piece is a bit itchy and uncomfortable I do not know if it would help against a vampire. But his heart is truly in the right place. I am some what envious.

Adrel - An unusual...fellow? He reminds me of the curs that I grew up with when I was younger. But I am glad that he is on our side... for now that is. I certainly don't want him on our bad side.

* Eldric makes further rambling notes about his recent findings about the Aquaduct pipes and deciphering the symbols *
